Name and previous names:
Gender: Tom
Clan: Breezeclan
Ranking: Medicine Cat Apprentice, if possible? If not, apprentice.
Age in moons: 6 Moons
Physical description: It goes unsaid that Dewpaw is a hairless tom. His skin, however, is a light shade of pink that gets darker as it makes it’s way down his body, ending in a chocolate brown tail tip. His skin is smooth on his back and sides, but his chest, legs, and toes are rather loose creating a folding/wrinkling effect. See the picture above. His cheeks are rather pinched in, giving his whole face a very bony appeal. The veins on his legs and neck protrude slightly, and his leg and hip joints are constantly showing. His ears are rather huge and sit regally atop his heart shaped head. His top lips create a fold that flap and protrude slightly above the lower. Again, see picture. He is rather muscular, and it shows through the skin. He is extremely tall with a long tail, like most Breezeclan cats. His long legs make him swift, and much running has built up a stamina to reckon with. His head is very narrow, his muzzle and nose having an up-turn, in which he can see with eyes almost the same shade as his skin.
Mental description: Dewpaw has never let the fact that he has no fur get in the way of his quest on becoming what he always wanted. He is as courageous as any cat. He’s distant, solitary, a loner in his clan, but also a mysterious romantic when given the chance. His voice is deep, the kind humans would imagine to come out of Indiana Jones. He is rather impatient, however, and if a group assignment is taking too long he will go out on a limb and finish it himself. He likes to be lazy and eat like any other cat, sure, but he knows the Warrior Code and follows it like the law. He doesn’t pester, refusing to act like a kit anymore, and is rather mature for his age. He doesn’t fight - his exposed skin is rather a giant disadvantage during a battle. Knowing the difference between a dream, a hope, and a reality has brought an air to him that many don’t mess or argue with. Always suspicious, Dewpaw doesn’t put anything past anyone. Any cat in the clan could be a traitor for all he knew, and the stories of rogue takeovers has always influenced him to be wary. He has always been on the defensive side of things, and that includes when fighting, knowing that if a cat grabbed hold of his skin he was as good as gone. To him, fighting should be kept in the paws of the strong and able, which he knows he is not. Dewpaw is quiet but when he speaks it is usually sarcastic. Although guarded and solitary, he gives advice to any cat that wants or needs it. It was about the time he started gaining a holistic approach on things that he realized he didn’t have to just watch mistakes happen. Thus, he tends to butt in with his own out view, opinion or advice on a matter he feels will go less than well. Always interested in herbs, plants, nature, and other creatures, not to mention his giant disadvantage to the clan as a warrior, is what guided him towards the Medicine Cat Apprentice position, curious about it as anything.
Personal history: Becoming a part of Breezeclan was hard, considering the clan had only been put together for a couple days before he came along. His father was a rogue, his mother a kitty pet, and he had always heard tales of the Clans when he was a kit. Of course, telling Dewpaw that the forest was a place not to go only had him more curious and determined to see them for himself. It wasn’t long before he had clawed his way away from his mother and two siblings to go find his father. He had always been ridiculed for his birth defect, the lack of fur being quite an ugly thing to another’s eyes. Usually having to fend for himself anyway, he figured life out in the big world couldn’t have been much different. After leaving at three moons old, he spent another three moons searching the forest for his father. Finding his father on the side of a road, dead, wasn’t exactly what Dewpaw expected. But it’s what he got, and Dewpaw didn’t dwell too much on the fact that his father was dead and didn’t have time to talk to him. Instead he found another rogue, a friend of his father’s who told her about his plans. Dewpaw learned that his father was on his way to find one of the Clan’s, sick of his life of solitary. So, in the determination to finish what his father started, and what was his own as well, Dewpaw went in search of one of the Clans. Along the way he learned how to survive using the herbs and plants of the wilderness, taking on a holistic lifestyle in the week or so it took him to find the newly formed Breezeclan. He never did go back to see what became of his mother or siblings. Instead he was taken in through the Warrior Code, after showing much promise in the arts of healing, although his actual Warrior skills were less than satisfactory. It wasn’t long before Dewpaw learned how to follow the Warrior Code and defeat his own self to help others, while still maintaining his own preferable solitary lifestyle. However long it takes, Dewpaw hopes to the Medicine Cat one day to help others, hear from Starclan, and follow through in what his father (or so he hoped,) hoped for him.
