Clan and position you are trying for: Leader of GaleClan Example of your best role-play skills: It was hard enough trying to crouch when the fall leaves were crispy. But having not eaten for several days and having her stomach roar, not growl, constantly was nearly putting her hunting patience over the top. Here was a nice weasel, nearly as big as a female "housecat" with an even bigger attitude and she couldn't even properly stalk the vivacious creature because of the constant streaming of complains coming from her gut. Giving up on being quiet, she just sighed and shot forward towards the weasel.
He knew she was coming. And weasels were nasty creatures who had a venomous temper. Too bad he wasn't dealing with the typical clan cat. Oh, no, he was dealing with a fully grown ocelot, one who was very nearly starving to death and would do anything to just sink her fangs into warm flesh. Gold didn't expect the fight to be easy. But she didn't exactly to expect it to be a battle like when she fought her father, Stone. And this little beastie was not very happy to see her.
Beady black eyes looked up to see the assailing figure of Gold coming at him. He shot under her, but her front claws were extracted and rolling her bottom over her head in midair, she dug in his back with her long talons. "Now, now! Mustn't get away!" The voice was sarcastic, nearly cold and emotionless, but it did sound a bit hysterical. Which made sense. Every rib in her body could be distinguished. She hadn't eaten in a week. With a snarl, the weasel turned to her with his own set of claws and slasheds her chest. She was told and had been repeatedly told by her late mother that she was not to ever give in to defeat or pain.
Here was no exception. She felt them and her mind was screaming in protest, but her pupils covered the majority of her optics and she appeared a cold, calculative, preposterous creature who felt no pain. She gave a hellish scream, which had the hints of a snarling growl, and used her claws to climb up the long prey's body. As one can imagine, the pain made the weasel a banshee. He yowled and his flexible body bent in half so that his mouth could latch onto her throat. And he actually did, but still, she seemingly felt nothing. Her white throat was staining scarlet, but she put an end to his fighting by taking a massive paw, with porportionate claws, and ripped out, entrails spilling on the grounds. Insantly, the fight was over as the weasel's eyes clouded over.
And for the first time in a week, Gold was able to feed herself and strengthen her chances of survival.
Qualifications and experience: Well, she's been a leader of her own life. She's a strategist and does have a definite line between right and wrong and as a general rule, she usually does pick what's right. She also has a deep sense of honor and takes into consideration of what goes on around her. Experience? Well, she's had a very hard life and to not be totally sinister is an achievement. She's already been through life and death situations and would be a good teacher as well as leader. *NOTE* I thought this would make a good reason for outbreak in Part Three of the plot, when StarClan reveals that Goldenleaf should be GaleClan's new leader. As in, she's not one of them. *blushes* Juuust an idea.

That part of the plot has already happened, and the GaleClan leader has an important part in the next plot and Goldenleaf's personality and history wouldn't fit with it, but I think she'd be a good fit for GaleClan deputy.
The GaleClan deputy also has an important part in the new plot, though, so if you're okay with that then the position's all yours ^^
