So, I've been curious about this for a while, and decided to make a thread about it. ^^ Before you joined this site, which sites were you on? What was your very first role-playing site? What sites are you on now? Have you heard of any of the sites I've been on, and have I heard of any of the ones that you've been on?
My first expedition into the world of Warriors role-playing happened when I was about nine (I think so, but I can't really remember exactly), and I think it was around the time when the authors had just announced that there would be a second series, but there were all kinds of false rumors flying around about it. XD Anyone remember the story that there would be four new clans that the second series would be based in, called IceClan, TreeClan, StoneClan, and SkyClan? Or the one that the second series would only be a trilogy?
Anyway, I was on this site called SF bookcase. I had been hanging around there for a while, discussing the warrior series, when someone mentioned role-play websites and I was curious and found the link and joined. I typed in a fake e-mail address when I signed up the first time, though, and couldn't activate my account. I signed up again, but couldn't get the username I had wanted. (Had to use Skyfur instead of Skypelt)
I was a complete n00b. XD I didn't even know how to get an avatar or a signature for quite a while, and caused a big controversy by saying in my character's past while creating her bio that she had been attacked by cats from one of the other clans. But I got accepted eventually and started RPing.
That site was run by someone called Mousestar, and the URL was mousestar.proboards.com.
I joined several other sites, too, including Oakstar's, Pinestar's, and Froststar's, and a really weird, fun, fast-paced one where all the posts were one-liners and people power-played each other's characters. It actually was fun, and if someone power-played your character in the way you didn't like, you simply overrode that with a contradicting power-play of your own in the next post.
That one got deleted, and I went inactive on all the others eventually except for Pinestar's, which later got deleted, too.
I created my own Warriors role-play site, and it was terrible. It was only active for maybe a month. Later I created two others, and they ran pretty well, but I sort of lost interest in the warriors series and abandoned them for a non-warriors based role-play site. Then my interest in Warriors came back and I joined two Warriors role-plays, truexdestiny.proboards.com & morningstar1.proboards.com. I was never really involved in them much though.
Then I left every role-play site I was on because of nerve injuries in my hands mainly (side effect from drug for my stomach, REALLY long story), and only returned to role-playing when I got this computer program where you attach a microphone to your computer and talk into it and the words appear on the screen. ^^ I'm actually using it now.
This is the only role-play website I'm on right now, although I do play on wajas.com.
